If there was no ressurection of Jesus yhan what took place?

I am an ex christian that would like to learn the skeptics perspective of christian history. Were the apostles deluded heritics is there any evidence that the early christians were trying to stage a revolution against Rome. Did saint Paul pretended like he knew the apostles in his letters to gain credibility. Was the whole new testament made up by ancient jewish people with an agenda universalise a form of judaism is there any evidence that the apostles were trinitarians. I do not trust the bible at face value but what I do know is that it was written and it has impacted our world tremendously and if there was no ressurection which I dont believe there was there has to be an alternative explanation to explain these events. any biblical scholars out there that can enlighten me. Any ideas any one.
