Does the Media treat real Christians unfairly?

The things you listed aren't dribble. The Westboro Baptist Church really do go the funerals of dead soldiers, and admit to sending mail to their parents telling them their son is in hell. Shirley Phelps also admitted herself ON AIR that she believes amish children deserved to die. That is Christianity, and it's coming from the mouths of a REAL Christian. I say real because she knows and follows the bible very well, as did her father. Someone in the church even claimed he knew the scriptures better than anyone on this earth.
